Obituary of Linda Marie Hallam

Linda Marie Hallam, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, died peacefully in her care home on Tuesday, May 31st at 11:43 am at the age of 72 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Linda is survived by; her sons Michael Hallam (Lisa Hallam) and Christopher Hallam (Tara Pejski); her siblings; Pat Ozubko, Sharon Yoder (Larry Yoder) and Don Ozubko (Darlene Ozubko); and her grandchildren; Neko Hallam, Kashius Hallam, Aspen Pejski-Hallam and Autumn Pejski-Hallam. She is predeceased by her husband; Ronald Hallam; her parents; Josephine and Peter Ozubko; her brother Robert Ozubko; and her two sisters Joan Ozubko and Marlene McKay.
Linda was born on March 22nd, 1950, in Tofield, Alberta where she spent her school years and established many friendships that lasted her lifetime. She met and married Ron in 1972 and they moved to Edmonton where her cherished boys Mike and Chris were born. The family next moved to Saskatoon and Linda spent the boy’s school years as a stay-at-home mom, making sure that the family was well taken care of and that everyone got to their activities on time. After the boys left home, Linda took on a few part time jobs and eventually became a key part of the opening of Hallam Dental Aesthetics, the family business, where she worked until retirement in 2008. After retirement, Linda spent as much time as possible with her grandchildren attending dance classes, soccer games and babysitting whenever called upon. Linda enjoyed camping, fishing and golfing and was always up for a night at the casino. She also loved to travel with family and many Christmas holidays were spent on family trips to new destination’s that created many great memories. 

It was Linda’s natural fun-loving, laid-back nature that made everyone care for her as much as they did. She was everyone’s favorite Aunt, a great friend to many and always there when you needed her. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family and all who knew her. 

A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at the St. Francis of Assisi Church in Tofield, Alberta. Father Jim Corrigan will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada in memory of Linda.
