Obituary of Lily Steel

Lily passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at Parkridge Centre at the age of 77. Lily is survived by her two sons Jimmy (Helen) and Billy, and a daughter Dawn, a granddaughter Lauren and her partner Rick and her two special great grandchildren Paige and Leland. Mum was born in Glasgow, Scotland and lived and worked in Scotland and England, before emigrating to Saskatoon in 2001 where she worked at the Sheraton Cavalier. Mum was a member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church and enjoyed attending the theatre and travelling the globe. Mum will be lovingly missed by her sons and daughter and extended family and friends in Canada and the U.K. Our thanks go to the doctors, nurses and staff at Eastridge 2, Parkridge Centre for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan.
