Obituary of Rachel Marie Fournier

Rachel Fournier (née Chabot), surrounded by her children, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2022. Rachel was born on January 25, 1936 in Ponteix, Saskatchewan. Rachel was predeceased by her loving husband, Raymond Fournier and her son Ronald Fournier. She is survived by her other 4 children, Rosanne Fournier, Renée Allen, Robert Fournier, and RaeLynne Medernach. Rachel was a devoted wife to Raymond and a loving mother to her five children. She also leaves to mourn her three sisters Paulette Reid, Michelle Reid, Claire Hagen, and her brother Roger Chabot.  She will be especially missed by her 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.
 
Rachel always made sure that her family had everything they needed. Rachel had an infectious laugh that spread to all within hearing distance. It will be one of the many things her children and other family members will miss the most. We find comfort in knowing that she is now at peace and has gone to join her husband, son and other family members she’s lost over the years. Rachel will be forever and always missed. We love you Mom!

Rachel has requested that there be no service. In lieu of flowers one can make a donation to the Cancer Society in Rachel’s name.
