Obituary of Patricia Elenore Holtom

It is with great sadness, but peace in our hearts, that the family of Patricia Elenore Holtom (nee: Landrie) announces her passing on May 4th, 2022 at 67 years. Pat will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Rick; siblings, Eric, Linda, Susan, Audrey (Joe), Dennis (Shelly) and Richard (Gianina); in-laws, Sandi, Cheryl, Bonnie and Mona; grandchildren, Courtney, Kodey (Marisa), Macauly (Avery), Kaylee, Taela and Jernie; great-grandchildren, Noah, Leia and Myah; stepchildren, Jennifer (Josh), Derek (Sherisse) and Jamie (Mairn); and extended families; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Pat was predeceased by her parents, Clem and Mary; brother, Allan; and daughter, Tina. 

Pat was born in Saskatoon, SK. on February 9th, 1955 along with her twin sister, Audrey. In 1974, Pat was blessed with the arrival of her daughter, Tina. Pat worked various jobs including the Metis Society for numerous years. She moved on and started her career with Western Region Metis Women and ended her last days at Central Urban Metis Federation as the Director of McLeod House. Pat was very passionate about her work including her “boys” at the house. She supported and volunteered with numerous non-profit organizations and worked alongside her husband with Westley’s hockey team over the years.

For 30 years Pat and Rick shared their life together with them ultimately eloping at one of their favorite vacation spots. Rick has always been her biggest supporter and he loved her unconditionally. Rick introduced Pat to the game of golf, which turned into her lifelong hobby.

Pat loved spending time with Tina, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family. These adventures included camping, Calgary road trips, family vacations, golfing getaways and putting on the miles with her sisters.

Pat will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memories will live on through her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Patricia’s Life will be held at Saskatoon Funeral Home (338 – 4th Ave. North, Saskatoon, SK.) on Tuesday, May 10th, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. The family of Pat would like to express their gratitude for all those who were there to support them during this difficult time.
