I remember the first time I met Maureen. It was at the Victoria Newcomers Walking group. She was tiny in stature with a quiet, soft-spoken demeanour but also with a marvellous sense of humour and quick wit. I liked her immediately. We miss her kindness and compassionate presence but are comforted in the knowledge that her suffering is over and she now rests in peace. Our sincere condolences to Jim and family.
