John Cannon posted a condolence

I realize it has been some months now, but I have found it difficult to work up the courage to include a tribute to truly one of the kindest human beings ever to grace this earth.
I met Lauralee some years ago whilst on a trip to Saskatoon. In the following months and years we became dear friends by way of emails and text. She once did a walk with Dillon and Sienna to raise funds for Multiple Myeloma in honour of me as I deal with that disease . Perhaps Dillon and Sienna you will remember that. The elderly at her care home worshiped Lauralee and I can’t image how she is missed by this group of people and absolutely everyone that knew her . She even once had her mother sew red hats and mittens for two of my grandchildren. I will miss you terribly my dear friend , Rest in Peace Lauralee. From your west coast forever friend , John Cannon . Rick , if you read this I would love to connect with you if you would like to one day

My Thoughts are with the family at this very sad time. When I think of Lauralee I think of kindness and she was always thinking of others. She was very talented and always had a project going. Lauralee could put an outfit together and just Rock it. She was gorgeous inside and out. We loved being mom's together and I will cherish those memories where our children were running and playing at our feet. The girl trips we had together where we would just talk about life and I remember the giggles. Lauralee was such a good listener I really could tell her anything and she wouldn't judge. I will miss her and wish we had more time together. Sending strength to family and friends during this hard time. Sincerely with Love Tammy Drummond .. .

Sending my Condolences to Laura -Lee’s family I met Laura when Kim and I drove her and Rick to the Airport when she was moving Rick to Campbell River I helped her at the airport as I was flying to BC as well , from my first meeting with her I knew this lovely lady was special we texted back and forth an this was the special text I received from Laura Lee when she returned from Campbell River this is her text
Hi Jean, Rick loves buying gifts and I reminded him to scale it down cuz you and Kim are both selfless people who would never expect something for a kind deed. The gift was just something very small to remind you of how lucky we felt to have you with us that day. We were both very stressed and feeling rather vulnerable about our flights ahead, so we felt as if you were "sent" from "somewhere" to guide us.
We had a special dinner one night in BC after all the unpacking was done, and Rick & I ( and my sister/brother in law ) clinked our wine glasses together in honour of you & Kim !!
Ricks condo looks great, and once his huge tv is mounted above the fireplace and a few more pictures are up, then he'll update me with a few new photos, which I'll share. It's absolutely gorgeous in Campbell River and I'll definitely be heading there to live too, in about 5 yrs.
Thanks so much
Hugs Laura Lee
RIP Beautiful lady you will be missed you have touched the hearts of so many people ,
