Dear Mrs. Boot and family,
I was sorry to hear of the passing of your dear husband and dad. It doesn't seem that long ago from our Saturday night choir days at St. Francis Church, but time does indeed march on.
May God's loving arms surround you at this difficult time and may He provide you with comfort and eventually peace in the days to come. Mr. Boot was a kind and gentle man and you both were lovely people to know from my childhood.
