My sincere condolences to all of Marc's family and friends, and especially his children. I have known Marc for more than 20 years, being colleagues within the Correctional Service Canada. While we never worked at the same location together, we attended many conferences and training together over the years and developed a great friendship. I recall a weekend trip to Montreal with Marc when we still had training in Cornwall, Ontario; we had a great time exploring old Montreal. Marc loved life and was never shy about seeking out new adventures. Whenever I traveled to Saskatoon I new Marc would find time to meet and catch up.
Taken too early my friend; you will be missed.

To Brielle and Mathieu, Marc's brothers and their family. I offer my sincere condolences. I met my cousin, Marc, only once. I did not have the privilege of knowing him, but his obituary paints a picture of Marc as a person with many achievements, interests and close relationships. A profound loss.

My deepest condolences to all of Marc’s loved ones. As a teacher at RPC, I truly appreciated Marc’s keen interest in education and his commitment to encouraging students and celebrating their successes. Over the years, I always enjoyed Marc’s sense of humour. It was fun to watch his glee when he used his wit to “pull the wool over someone’s eyes” about some crazy thing, fun even when I was the one being fooled. His joy was contagious. May you find comfort in your memories even as you miss him. Susan Yantz

Since 2009 I worked with Marc in various capacities related to CSC Education. He was a character! We had many laughs, debates, & discussions. Your Dad, brother & friend was soft-hearted at the core, & treated me with kindness. I wish each of you peace as you, like many of us, miss Marc.

To Brielle, Mathieu and Ouellet family,
It was with great sadness that I learned of Marc’s passing. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. I felt like I knew Marc because Auntie Olga used to share stories about him and his children when we spoke on the phone years ago.
May your memories comfort you during this difficult time.

I will always think of Mark and his Diet Coke! Whenever we were at work he would always offer me one, as he always had a ton in his office! Im grateful for his thoughtfulness when we worked together as he would try and help me with my shifts so that I could get home to my kids. May everyone remember him with a smile.

Sincere condolences to Marc's family, especially his children. As far back as 20 years ago, when working at Sask Pen, Marc stood out as a kind, caring man. In a difficult environment, Marc's honesty and integrity were impressive. May all your happy memories bring you peace and keep his love close to your heart.

My deepest condolences to Marc's children and family, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Marc was a mentor and someone I truly respected over the past 20 years. A few years ago we were able to attend a meeting in BC. We took the time to make a quick trip to Seattle. I will never forget crossing the border, Marc thought it would be hilarious when asked if we had anything in the truck to tell the officer, 'only a person bound and gagged'. Not the best time to crack a joke lol thank goodness for CSC badges! It was a short but fantastic adventure. He even tried to recreate the scene from the Titanic. His wisdom and humor will be missed

Very saddened to hear of Marc's sudden passing. My condolences to his children and family. I got to know Marc while he served as my Supervisor at R.P.C. and as a co worker at Kilburn Hall Youth Centre. He always treated me with the utmost respect, and made me feel like a valued employee. My last conversation with Marc occurred while he and I were having a meal with the youth at K.H.Y.C. He was encouraging me to have contact with a nun who was serving as a Volunteer Chaplain. He was impressed with the good work she was doing. This was important to me as I presently serve in Chaplaincy Services. He will be greatly missed!

To Brielle, Mathieu and all of Marc’s brothers (my cousins) and all the respective families
It is very difficult to speak of Marc in the past tense. He is bigger than life itself. The gentle giant.
I watched Marc grow up. I feel a special bond developed between us when Marc and his brother Jean-Guy spent a week with my family on the farm. They both were very young. The rest of the Ouellet family were travelling, we had the pleasure of spending time with the two youngest. Marc especially liked the tractor ride my father; his uncle took him on.
Many memories over the years of Marc at family gatherings or just visiting with each other in Saskatoon or Calgary.
Please accept my deepest condolences.
Take Care

Shocked and saddened to hear this news regarding Marc, as time fly's by we tend to not by purpose lose track of our cousins
and extended family.
With Marc and all his brothers it was so easy to just pick up the conversation when we bumped into each other whenever and wherever, as I did with Marc on occasion, the connection was and is always there.
Rest in peace cousin Marc, you are and will be missed.

Words are inadequate to express the sadness felt over the loss of my friend. Marc was my confidant, my greatest supporter, and my dearest friend. I will miss talking with him, laughing with him, and just knowing he's there. If you were lucky enough to be in Marc's inner circle you knew you were loved and there wasn't anything he wouldn't do for you.
Sending love and support to Brielle, Mathieu, Jean-Guy and the Ouellet family.

Having worked with Marc for almost 20 years there have been a lot of laughs and good times. One thing that comes to mind is when Marc was big into ordering jerseys online. He convinced us all that it was such a good deal. So myself and a few others got in on Marc's jersey orders. In fact, it was such a good deal that I am sure I ordered at least 10 as Marc was so convincing. Needless to say they were not quite the NFL/NHL ones but that might have been the reason why the jerseys were such a great deal. We all had fun teasing Marc and laughing ourselves when the jerseys came in but nonetheless we still all wore them proudly. Sending our deepest condolences to the family.
