Obituary of Lois Dorothea McGuire

Lois McGuire, the unassuming warrior who loved unconditionally and gave with all her heart, fought against all odds and adversity until her last breath early in the morning on March 19, 2022.  Quiet and reserved in her daily life, Lois has touched the lives and hearts of thousands.  No sacrifice was too great, and no gesture was ever done without meaning.

All are invited to participate. Small reception to follow the memorial presided over by Catholic minister, at her request.

Following the celebration, there will be a small reception at the Edwards Family Centre across the street.

In May, Lois and her son Mike will go on one final adventure, to take her home in "Lois' Dream Machine", the camping trailer she always dreamed of owning.  Their final destination will be Arnprior, Ontario, where she will be buried beside her husband John, whom she loved eternally.

Formal wear is greatly appreciated out of respect for Lois. Lois' favorite colours are navy blue and royal blue, if you are compelled to wear it.

Parking is free at the funeral home, and the reception hall is across the street.
