Fritz (Olaf Fridolf) Anderson passed away February 26, 2022 at 97 years of age. 
Dad was predeceased by his parents Johan and Helga (Moe), brothers Rene and Anders, cousin Gordon Stokke, Edwin and Walter Hippe, Martha and Louise and cousins in Sweden, 
And is survived by wife Hazel (73 years marriage), son David (Sue), daughter Wendy (Gordon), grandchildren Kara, Michael, Jasmine, Bryena, Kelsey (Eriel), Rory (Jon), Jordan and Mackenzie and  great-grandchildren Noel, Jaida, Uli, Henry and Sonya.
Dad was born in Saskatoon and attended Mayfair school and Technical Collegiate. 
He was employed at MacCosham Van Lines for over 42 years. 
Dad was active in his community, his church ( St. Paul’s Lutheran), and Kiwanis. 
He was a member of the Saskatoon Club, Usadian Club, Saskatoon Traffic Club and last but not least Riverside Golf and Country Club.
After retirement he enjoyed a good game of golf with mom and the Hansons (Marg and Palmer) several days a week. 
He also enjoyed cross country skiing and skating.
Mom and Dad enjoyed vacationing in Hawaii, Palm Springs, Arizona and one special trip to Sweden to visit his relatives there.

The Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 11:00 am at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (627 Taylor St. E.) with interment to follow in the Field of Honour at Woodlawn Cemetery. The Service will be livestreamed and can be accessed at Fritz’s tribute site at www.saskatoonfuneralhome.com where condolences may also be left for the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Luther Special Care TM Unit, or Kiwanis Club of Saskatoon.
