I met Edgar when he was in Leominster Mass in the 1970's ========== and we were quite close for about 5 years. We had many adventures together ------- but the one i remember the best is this.
We were on the way to Boston Garden to see The Who & Lynerd Skinard. There were 5 of us in the Car. All of a sudden Edgar said pull over the car and let me out !!!! I forgot my tickets
Well --- we were 25 miles from Leominster --------- and the last thing he said to us ---------------- is HOLD my seat.
About 1 minute before the show started ----- we could see Edgar running down the aisle. He had hitch hiked all the way home --- got his ticket --- and had someone drive him to the Boston Garden ------------------ IN TIME TO SEE BOTH BANDS
Although I only saw him once since -------------- the 70's ---------- when he visited Bouctouche in the late 1990's ---- I will never forget him --------- and his smile and laugh.
