Uncle Red had such a zest for life. He was a wonderful woodworker, and I will always cherish the glider he made for my husband and I as a wedding gift. My family all remember what a great sense of humour he had and how often he would make us laugh. He was a joy to be around and will me sadly missed by everyone,

I will remember grandad as not only a jokester and a sharp opponent in trick taking card games but as a tinkerer and a garage engineer. I’m proud that all of these qualities seem to have made it down the line. I love you grandad
