Dolly and family. I am saddened to hear of Chief Russell's passing. An amazing man who did so much for the fire department and the people of Saskatoon. I have many fond memories of interviewing him and then working for him. No one told a story better. And I will always remember how he referred to 'his bride'. His love for his wife and family was so obvious to all. A life well lived. My thoughts are with you.

Our dear friend Scott has left us far too early. Our memories of him will remain. Our friendship has lasted over 45 years. There will be a huge chasm at our get-togethers. He will be missed by our entire family. Our thoughts are with Dolly, Staci and Cam and families, his mother Marj, sister Penny and extended families.

I was fortunate enough to meet Scott a few times, and Scott and Dolly always greeted me like I was close family. I was touched that he and Dolly traveled to my father, Murray's service to pay their respects when he passed away. My dad shared many hilarious stories involving their times growing up together. Thinking of Scott always made my dad smile, and I will always treasure that. My thoughts are with his loved ones during this very difficult time.

Dolly and family,
I want to pass along my condolences to you during this difficult time. Scott was a wonderful person and I will always remember the fun so many of us had working together at the SFD. He was responsible for hiring me when I left broadcasting, and made me feel like part of the family.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
