I am saddened to hear of Dennis passing. I have many great memories of working with Dennis going back to 1968 when we worked together and then again nearing the end of his RBC career. I always found my conversations with Dennis ones I highly respected. I have always been impressed with his respectful reactions with clients and staff alike. His advice and support was so appreciated. My sympathy to the family

Vera and Family:
While I didn't have the chance to work directly with Dennis, I did run into him in a number of branches as we traveled around the province.
Dennis was always a guy who you made an effort to talk to when you had a chance. When he had something to say it was always worth listening to.
I remember his reputation for being at work early and having his work up to date by the end of each day.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family.

Brenda and I wanted to send our sympathies and our thoughts to you Vera, to Robb, Ian and Scott and their families. There are few words that can explain or comfort the loss...... I have had a lot of time to reflect on my association with both Dennis and yourself. I feel fortunate to have worked shoulder to shoulder with Dennis for a few years at RBC as he ended his career.....and to arrange his retirement party as well. Add to that the many times we spent socializing, at the cabin(s) ,fishing and the odd party with you two. I have many, many pictures as reminders from those times ........ We all have our "special" memories of Dennis ...... from every occasion we shared....... we can cherish those even more now........ Les & Brenda Lindberg

Vera and family, I was very saddened to hear of Dennis’s passing. He was a good friend for 30+ years . Dennis was one of my first managers in RBC , I learned a great deal from him and we became fast friends. I have many fond memories of our annual archery mule deer hunts, elk camp escapades, the sharing of stories in the evening, playing crib and of course the odd drink of rum. We also spent many hours fishing together on Laronge, Montreal lake and elsewhere, always reasonably successful with a good fish feed that followed. He was a very fine fellow and I will miss him. Vera , my thoughts are with you and family in what must be a difficult time for you. Look forward to seeing you in person again in the not too distant future. Peter Carton

Vera- so sorry to hear of Dennis’s recent passing. Barb and I send our condolences and prayers to you and your family. I remember fondly the years working alongside both you and Dennis in Prince Albert and Saskatoon. It took me a while to figure out why in the afternoon Dennis didn’t seem to have work to do and was ready for coffee or a cocktail. Eventually learned that he started work anytime after about 5:00 am and was done the majority of his work before anyone else was even at the office. Many great conversations and laughs were shared during the time spent together and we will cherish those memories.
