In the 50s Frank worked as a technician with my father in Upper Atmospheric Studies. Somewhere
there is a picture of me and Frank - one of us holding a fish- my first. More recently he helped with
a article about my dad's scientific career.

I was saddened to learn of Mr. Hector’s recent passing. His son Frank and I were close friends through high school and beyond. I have many good memories of times spent when Mr. Hector was driving Frank and I to various activities like the Saskatoon Police Boys Rifle Club and to learning about amateur radio from Mr. Hector (VE5SH). These are the sorts of memories that are cherished for life.
