Uncle Frank reakky knew how to light up a room. He was always there for you if you needed him. His memory will always be remembered by his warm embrace and laugh that would light up a room. Love you...

So sorry to hear of Frank’s passing. I first met Frank in the early 60s when he worked at Canada Customs and I worked in the Traffic Dept at Federated Coop. Then a few years later we bought 2708 MacEachern and you were our next door neighbours! We very much enjoyed the 9 years that we were there. Frank and Jenny, and family were extraordinary. My thoughts and prayers are with you at the difficult time.

A prominent memory of mine is sitting formally around a large table for meals at Grannie's house in the early 60s. Uncle Frank was always kind and engaging to us as kids. Grace before a meal, maybe a toast, stories and always a smile and a laugh were part my memories of him. He followed our news, and we his, through his lifelong friendship with our dad, Bill Hope. They were much more than brothers in law. My condolences to the many friends and family of Frank Gow.

My condolences to the family. I have nothing but good memories of Uncle Frank. He always wore a smile. I remember in the 1960s watching him march through downtown along with my Dad and Nick Melymick every Novevember 11th and being so proud.

This past summer I was contacted by Frank's family to pipe at his 99th birthday celebration on Aug 15 at Sherbrooke.
After taking a few minutes to tune up I got ready, received instructions, then struck in and marched into the room where
Frank and his family were gathered. I received a warm welcome and had a chat with Frank after playing a few tunes.
Sharp as a tack, he remembered visiting my lodge and remembered me. He also was tackling a generously sized piece of birthday cake - the cake didn't stand a chance!
It was a pleasure and an honour to play for such an amazing man and a brother Mason. Thank you to Frank's family for inviting me.
Rest in peace Brother. Life's work well done.
