I always remember the first time I met Otto & Ruth. We were at a veterinary dinner and dance at the U. Of SK. My husband and I were dancing and we stopped beside another couple. My Otto said to this couple— I want you to meet my wife, Ruth. And Otto Ulrich said , I would like you to meet my wife, Ruth. Well, that became a wonderful friendship over many years. I played bridge with Ruth and we had many fun parties at our homes and with the Veterinary college. We also had some fun when some of the people at the WCVM would made a mistake and would go to the wrong house for an invitation as they had not looked at the address. We both lived in Greystone Heights! After I lost Otto in 2006 and Ruth died in 2008, we would see each other once a year when I would go to Saskatoon to visit. We always had fun as so many good memories to talk about. Otto was disciplined in many ways— a true Air Force man. He was a people person as was always interested in everyone. His family was dear to him. RIP Otto and may you be reunited with Ruth and my Otto. My prayers and thoughts go out to Lisa and all the family.

So sorry to hear of Otto's passing, we first met Otto on a cruise back in 2011. Finding out our Saskatoon connection we spent dinners and tours with him on this trip. He was such a fun man to be with and we all shared so many stories and thoroughly enjoyed our cruise week with Otto After 2011 on return trips to Saskatoon I would meet up with Otto in both Lawson Heights mall as well as at Primrose Chateau he always remember us and our week together on the cruise Otto left us with very special memories of that trip. Our condolences to the family.

I was sorry to learn of Otto's passing. Otto lived a great life and a long life. He was a leader and an organizer in respect to everything he became involved in. I have only known Otto for six years but I have been impressed with his obvious interest in people and he was always looking for ways to help. We will miss Otto at the Primrose Chateau where he was a friend to all and where he was a part of almost everything that was going on. My condolences to Otto's family.
