I remember Nancy as a beautiful soul wired for connecting to people. We went to school from grade 1-12 but I connected with Nancy during the year she went to U of S. Everything that BIL stated in her Eulogy resonated. She was just a lovely human with a twinkle in her eye. Gone too soon. May all who loved her be comforted by memories, her sweet spirit and love. I know she will be with you everyday just keep your heart and mind open and you will see. Rest In Peace friend-Karla Thompson

I am so very saddened to hear of Nancy's passing, and send my deepest condolences to all her families and friends. Years of age and the distance of geography meant I did not really know Nancy. However, having remotely joined such a beautiful service to honour her life, she was clearly a very special person who will be deeply missed. May love and shared memories of the joy of her life with you bring solace and comfort.

Nancy was a dedicated mom for her girls during their elementary years, and was a rock for their formative years and during their athletic involvements. I treasured her smile and the well rounded family she provided for our St. Paul’s School community. Always a ray of light as a parent! Deepest condolences to her family. Valerie Thiessen (Saskatoon)

Sincere condolences to the family of Nancy on her sudden passing. I met Nancy at the Yorkton Regional High School through her sister Carolyn. She was a quality human being, always kind with a great sense of humour. So sad to see someone so young who still had so much living to do.
She will be missed.

I am very saddened by the passing of Nancy. She was my first childhood friend in Yorkton. We met in grade 2 and our fathers both taught at the Yorkton Regional High. Our families used to get together and we would have "sleep-overs" regularly with my sister and her sister Carolyn. We used to go "trick or treating" to each other's houses, so that we could visit and so could our parents. I used to head over to their house and hang out. I remember once Nancy thought it a good idea, so sat me down to feed me onions to get over my dislike. Despite her support, it didn't happen!
She will be in peace now with the heavenly father. My deep condolences to you all.

I was so sad to hear of Nancy's passing. Growing up I spent lots of time in the Nelson home, and Nancy, Carolyn, Caroline and I spent so much time doing silly things together. I remember long before she went to culinary school, she would make us lefsa and it was so delicious. She was such a fun and lovely person and will be missed by all.
