We send our deepest sympathy to Carman and the family. Although we just got to know Gladys at Holliston staff parties we always enjoyed a visit with her ---friendly and easy to talk with. May your many wonderful memories remain with you always.

I send my deepest sympathy to Carmen and to the boys and to their families. Gladys was truly a wonderful woman. Very hard -working, down to earth and so much fun. We have lost touch since those great years on 800 block 4th Street E but the memories will never go away. Particularly I remember spending a New Year's Eve helping tear up your kitchen flooring. There was no place we would rather have been. And I remember the water artillery over the back fence .One learned not to mess with Gladys nor her family. We here are thinking of you at this time of sorrow.

That was actually one of the stories we all remembered too Grant! Thank you for that :-) My mom was trying to paint the fence at our old house on 4th street, but Mrs Skekin (no idea on spelling) our neighbor decided to make it difficult and spray mom through the fence as she didn't like the color I guess. Mom saw a chance to have some fun, grabbed the hose from Jason, climbed the ladder, and the best water fight I have ever seen ensued as her and Mrs. Skekin hosed each other down :-)
