Just very emotional hearing Aunty Elieen passed away.
I missed her in London in 2000 at the Heathrow airport. I left Aunty Iris home and Aunty Elieen was arriving.
Uncle Patrick always make sure I called her.
Unfortunately because of circumstances I never had the pleasure to meet her.
She will be received in heaven with Ma, Buck, Uncle Sunny, Uncle Raja, Aunty Stella, Aunty Cecila, Aunty Iilly, Uncle Patrick, Harold, Jean and my mom.
Very emotional reading the memories of my cousins
We were a close nit family.
Orange Nassau we all grew up.
We all had the same nanny Nurse. Nurse came to Subryanville to work for us.
Uncle Sunny always looks forward to seeing my father coming back from Springhall Estate. Babagee dropping us in the mornings and picking us up in the afternoons. So much to eat. I always remember playing with Debbie in the dolly House. We were both the youngest in the family.
Standing on the bridge at Orange Nassau with the girls in the afternoons and the cars stopping and horning. Myself and Denis was the only boys among the girls.
Denis always taking me for drives with him in the big Chevrolet cars in Georgetown uncle Sunny always will buy.
Cannot forget Uncle Sunny always giving myself and Ronald hand fulls of coins at GCC cricket club.
Great memories to reflect and remember.
Aunty Elieen will be missed but I know deeply she is in heaven with Ma and Buck.
Lots of love to all my cousins and their memories of our Aunty Elieen.
Sincerely,
Paul

I never had the pleasure of meeting Aunty Eileen but my mother, Janet Rajnarine DeFreitas spoke often and lovingly of her and their many adventures in Guyana. I know they kept in touch with letters and occasional phone calls but their bond remained strong. We wish we could be there with all of you. Love the DeFreitas family.

Aunty Eileen was my Mother's sister. I have fond memories of her throughout the years, especially when she visited Guyana.
The last time we spoke was when I was in Canada after Uncle Albert's passing. She was sad but said she had good memories
to look back on. May She Rest In Peace.
Deepest Sympathy to her children from Myself and my family.

Aunty Eileen was my Mom's sister and even though she left Guyana and lived in various Countries during her life time, she always kept in touch with her Family, including her nieces and nephews. She visited us over the years when Uncle Albert was alive and they visited Mississauga, and we kept in touch by phone until a few years ago.
Aunty Eileen was a sweet, loving and kind Aunt, and Family was precious to her. She remembered her life in Guyana with love and joy, and would tell me about her many memories there - and especially with my parents and her mother.
My heart is sad but comforted knowing that Aunty Eileen lived a long life. She met her life's journey with courage, fortitude, love, forgiveness and kindness, and I felt that whenever we met or spoke to each other. Even though I had not spoken to her in a long time, she was always in my daily prayers and heart. And she will always remain there.
God rest Aunty Eileen's Soul and take her Home with Him, and comfort her Family and friends. I will miss her and will always remember her with love. May the Circle forever be unbroken.
Her loving Niece in Ontario,
Bernadette

Aunt Eileen loved all her family, nieces and nephews. We grew up together, with my sister Jean.
I have spent time with her in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Later we met in New York during Jean’s illness, met her great niece and nephews Naomi, Roger and Ranji. She visited me, her nephew, in Cumbria, met her niece Desiree in Barrow-in-Furness, then left for London to spend time with her sister Iris, and brother Patrick.
We were in constant communication until her health declined. We all will miss her, remembering the happy times we spent together in Cove and John, and in the UK.
We will never forget her warm personality, generosity and good nature.
May she rest in peace.

Condolences to our cousins from Shanti & Bill Seepaul, Chandra & Roger Viapree and Nauth Persaud.
Aunty Eileen was married to our maternal uncle, Albert Ramsahoi in 1952. I was 9 years old. Aunty Eileen was a fun loving person. She loved playing the piano and our grandparents loved to hear her play. My teenaged friends joined us for many musical evenings with Aunty Eileen at the piano. Aunty Eileen joined her husband in Ireland and in 1964 I visited and stayed on for a few years. That was when we bonded as sisters more than aunt and niece.
This quote by an unknown author sums it.
"What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch. We may not understand why people leave before we are ready to say goodbye, but little by little we begin to remember not just that one dies but one lived and that life gave us memories too beautiful to forget."
Aunty Lyn will never be forgotten.
Shanti
