Obituary of Valerie Joyce Mercereau

Valerie Mercereau (nee Ewart) was born in Saskatoon on December 23rd, 1932 and passed away at RUH on July 14th, 2021.

Valerie is survived by her husband Lionel, daughter Gail (Ken) Nicholson, five grandsons, two great-grandsons, and two great-granddaughters.  She was predeceased by her parents and her siblings, as well as her son Shane and daughter-in-law Sherri.

Valerie graduated from Saskatoon Business College and worked at Paulin Chambers.  She stayed with the company for approximately four decades throughout changes in ownership.

She enjoyed gardening and times with family and extended family, particularly at the cabins at Emma Lake and Jackfish Lake.

As Valerie requested, there will be no funeral service.  Interment of cremains will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery when Valerie and Lionel will be together again.
