I had reserved Allan on many flights to visit his family which he was always very excited to do.
I will certainly miss our talks about our cats!
It was a pleasure to get to know his personality and humor and I will miss him.
My condolences.

We will miss Allan after knowing him for many years, he loved the annual Christmas Eve at our house, and we had many many discussions about everything from Burnley F.C in Lancashire, how things were going in England etc etc. We had a load of fun and we all enjoyed a sharing of presents. Over the years we all enjoyed playing golf at Wildwood, Allan was a better golfer then he thought himself. While Allan was a cat person, he did indeed love our dogs which he knew over the last years, we had 3 dogs in that time. That was probably from 1983, when we opened "The Irish Shop", we retired in 1999. We often talked about our small group of friends in Allan, Aimee',Claudia, and Barbara & Dan . We loved the time with Allan and will never forget him. Sleep well Allan.

We are so sorry for your loss, Allan was a kind ,loving, compassionate man who never judged and always stayed true to his word.Allan had a love for his family, and friends..whether facing a harsh winter with long walks or a relaxing walk at the Berry Barn after a helping of his favorite bacon and eggs.Allan loved his two pussy cats and after the loss of his precious Puske he soon found room in his heart and home for another and so Moesha became his steady companion for many years. We will miss his quirky sense of humor and the wealth of knowledge he had from reading, going to the opera, silly movies, politics, and history,to just every day things.Allan was not a man who judged and so he let others live their life, on occasion offered advice but only when asked. Allan was truly a Gentle Man and it was our honor to know him as a person and more so as a friend. We will miss him,but we will not forget him.Thank you Allan for reminding me ..""to be cheecky"" is a good thing. Thank you Allan for the years of joy, interesting conversation, laughs, and showing us that a simple way of life is a good thing as well. RIP our dearest friend, you did well, you deserve your rest. LOVE!!!
