Dave and Nancy, you already know my feelings of respect for Jeremy, as I have expressed them.
I did want to express my loss at never having been able to cook together with Jeremy. I would have loved to have learned a few more things about cooking from him. We talked about cooking pork belly with yam butter and many other things but unfortunately other things always got in the way and we didn't do it,
I know that your many friends in Kinsmen share your huge loss so please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time.
Your friends will always be there for you!

My deepest condolences to the family of Jeremy Hobson.
Jeremy had such a talent and passion for his craft.
I remember hearing of this amazing chef at one of the other northern mine sites, and I requested that he come to Rabbit Lake. Not long after Jeremy arrived, his talent quickly lifted the mood at Rabbit Lake. Jeremy cared how people felt about his food and he often walked around the dining hall talking to people to make sure everything was perfect. He spent many hours working late into the night preparing for the next day. He loved a challenge and could make tedious chores fun. He had charisma, charm, and yes a bit of a mischievous side!
After my father passed away I was touched when Jeremy brought me one of his pictures, it will always have special meaning to me.
I am saddened by his passing, he will be missed.
RIP Jeremy.

My sincere and heartfelt condolences to Jeremy’s parents and sister, Jessica in the so sad loss of Jeremy. I taught both Jeremy and Jessica at Marian Graham. Jeremy was a favourite; I certainly enjoyed teaching and talking with him: always polite, pleasant, worked hard, keen. It’s hard to find the right words to comfort you and ease your pain. RIP. Jeremy. Hugs. Ruth Bare
