Obituary of Marg Crowle
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Margaret Crowle, aged 93. Margaret passed away peacefully in her residence on June 14, 2021 in Warman, SK. In her esteemed career as an associate professor of home economics, including the former Dean, she was the recipient of many honours and awards in recognition of her outstanding community service, innovation, and contributions to the peoples of Saskatchewan. Margaret was pre-deceased by her husband William Leigh Crowle in 2001, and later life partner, Eugene Duncan in 2020. Mourning her passing are her three children, Lois (Arthur) Wihlidal, Jean (Al) Verishagen, and Morley (Laurie) Crowle, her 7 grandchildren, Lori, Carrie, Kevin, Shauna, Jarred, Graham and Lisa and 12 great grandchildren. She will also be missed by her many friends and colleagues. Margaret was a fun, “spunky” lady who loved with her whole heart and always lived life to the fullest. She loved her family, travelling and a good glass of scotch. At Margaret’s request, in lieu of a funeral, a celebration of life will be planned at a future date. A special thank you to Debbie and the staff at Diamond House in Warman for the exceptional and loving care she received in her final years.
