We were sad to hear of your Mother's passing. She was an outstanding woman who worked hard to do her best for her family and her community. We remember her humor and her excellent cooking and baking. She made a beautiful cake for our Mom and Dad's 25th anniversary. She came to the hospital, cinnamon buns in hand, on Mom's last day.
Our Mother,, Marjorie Brown Luke, and your Mother were life long friends. They were born in the same year, grew up together, took training in Regina in the same year and married the same year. Your Mother was Mom's Bridesmaid. Both our Fathers were serving in the Canadian Forces during World War 2. We were born in the Viceroy Municipal Hospital and Mom stayed with your Mom both before and after delivery.
You were blessed to have your Mother for so many years. We remember her fondly and you are in our thoughts and prayers.
