VICTOR HOLMAN FALLIS
1938 - 2021

 

 

Vic passed away peacefully at Royal University Hospital on May 17th, 2021 with family by his side.  Vic was born June 22, 1938 in Prince Albert, Sask. to Quinton and Cora Fallis.  When Vic was in elementary school they moved to Saskatoon.  Vic attended high school and later in life received his Certificate of  Business from the U of S. Vic married Pat Empey (the love of his life and best friend) on Oct 10th, 1964 in Vanguard, Sask.  Vic worked at many jobs including Quaker Oats, Granite Curling Club, Bearing and Transmission and Coop Trust. Vic loved sports which included softball, curling, and hockey. He attained his Level 1 Umpiring certificate.  Vic and Pat billeted many Saskatoon Blades hockey players over the years. Vic also loved dogs, especially Boston Bull Dogs.  They were always a faithful companion for Vic.  Vic enjoyed many weekends at the cottage at Waskesiu golfing, hosting many family and friends and as well as their many winter holidays. Vic was predeceased by his wife Pat, parents Quinton and Cora Fallis brother Mel and wife Norma as well as parents in law Art and Eileen Empey.  Vic is survived by in-laws Don and Judy Empey, Emile and Sharon Legault, Rod and Bonnie Empey and Rick and Wanda Longworth, as well as many nieces and nephews. Also special thanks to Dr. Tom Gabruch for the many years of looking after Vic. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Saskatchewan Branch of the Kidney Foundation, 2217 Hanselman Court, Saskatoon, Sk. S7L 6A8. Funeral Services will be held at St Anne’s Parish at 217 Lenore Drive on Friday May 28th at 1:00 pm.
