Dear Millie, so sorry to hear of Garry's passing. My mom, Ann Van Meter, worked for Garry in the Carrot River drugstore. She has fond memories of those days! Garry was such a tease and enjoyed a good joke! You and Garry have continued to keep in touch with her and your kindness, garden produce and coffee visits are much appreciated. I remember Dawn from our days at Carrot River High School. Our condolences also to your children and grandchildren. He will be missed. Cheryl Rusk and Ann Van Meter

Sorry to hear of Garry passing. Our families grew up together in Carrot River. Gary was older than me but his sister Carol and I were in the same grade in school. His mom and dad had the Robinson store in Carrot River where you could buy pretty much anything. Garry looks a lot like is Dad. Sincere sympathy to your family.

Dear Millie, Dawn, Scott and Tracy –
Our deepest sympathies to you and your families. Garry always entertained us nonstop with his endless teasing, mostly aimed at my mom, who did her best to fire it back, resulting in lots of laughs from all. He also handed out words of encouragement, and gave me one of my first jobs in Carrot River. He was a pillar in the Carrot River community.
Wishing you comfort in the difficult times ahead, when his presence will be dearly missed.
Sincerely, Berna Magnuson and Earle Nestmann

Dear Mrs. Reynolds, Dawn, Scott and Tracy:
I wanted to send a quick note to express my sympathy to you and your entire family. Mr. Reynolds was a very bright man with a lot of positive energy that he shared with everyone around him. He always had kind words of encouragement for our hockey team growing up and was quick with a comeback when my Mom tried to tease him on his daily walks by our house with Mrs. Reynolds.
Also, my Mom and Dad were always very impressed how fast I was able to get changed after Mr. Reynolds took Tracy and I to hockey practice but the reality was Mr. Reynolds would say "The car is leaving in 10 minutes so you better be ready" LOL.
The world is a better place because of men like you Mr. Reynolds, may you Rest In Peace. Sincerely, Warren Wood & family.

Warren thank you for your kind message. It has been a few years since we played some hockey together. Dad truly loved the game and he played several games a week right up until he had to stop as a result of the pandemic earlier this year. I hope that you and your family are well, and that your kids grew up being able to change quickly :-)

Dearest Millie; Dawn, Peter & Family; Scott, Wendy & Family; and, Tracy, Tavia & Family: We are so, so sorry for your loss. Garry was a treasured "member of Mills Crescent" - we will truly miss our talks during Millie and Garry's walks when they would stop at our home. Garry was the most ambitious gentleman on the crescent and was known to always be the first to have a walk cleaned or, in spring, to be the first to mow his lawn. The yard was always in superb display. We will miss his charisma and his jovial laugh. God Bless him always. Our hearts are with the family. Sonja and Willie Wood
