Our sincere condolences to Derek's children, his wife,Helen, and his extended family members. We have positive memories of our associations during the John Lake School band program, teaching episodes when Derek visited the classroom, and one-on-one interactions. Derek was truly a thoughtful, gentle and positive "boss" who consistently wore his amazing smile.
Thanks for sharing the delightful visual images in addition to the spoken colourful memories by Earl Newton and Rev Brian during Derek's funeral service. God Bless each of you and sincere thanks for a memorable funeral service.
