Obituary of Frances Bernice Guzak

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frances Guzak, on the early morning April 4, 2021, at age of 87, after a valiant and courageous 2 1/2 month battle with cancer. She is now reunited with the love of her life, Peter Guzak. She was the loving mother of, Dinys Reed and Jennifer Guzak. She is predeceased by: her husband, Peter Guzak; parents, Charles and Marie Lefevre; sisters, Alice, Irene and Clara; and brother Earl. She is survived by: her daughters, Dinys (Calvin) Reed and Jennifer Guzak; her granddaughter, Allysen (Jarred) Romich; and special great-grandson, Maddox Romich. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was born in Marcelin, Saskatchewan to Charles and Marie Lefevre October 14, 1933. She worked many jobs including telephone operator, clerical at Fort San and finally with First Nations and Inuit Health in the accounts department in Fort Qu’Appelle, which she retired after 30yrs of service. Once retired she enjoyed many years of camping and golfing during the summer and travelling to Hawaii, and cruising during the winters.
A private family funeral service will be held at graveside due to Covid-19. In lieu of flowers donations to 6100 Oncology unit Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon SK.
