I was saddened to hear of Robin's passing. She was a courageous holy soul. Her love of God, of Sacred Scriptures, and of her seniors is a tribute to her deep spiritual life. I will miss our spiritual conversations, but I know she is in the arms of her Lord whom she loved and knew intimately. Linda Labelle, Saskatoon

It is with a heavy heart that I write this tribute. Robin was a people person and I always appreciated her thoughtful and kind words and cards to myself and my elderly Mom. She was authentic and present in conversations and practical and grounded in her help and care of others. I loved her blog and always looked forward to any thing she wrote or shared. I will always remember her stories of walking through Saskatoon streets and quietly praying God’s love down on each home. She was an inspiration thu going back to school and then her heart illness. I am grateful for her life having touched mine. Gone far too soon but I’m so sure welcomed In Heaven. God bless you Murray and family as you keep her in your hearts and take one day at a time.

I knew Robin from the Saskatoon Ministers Fellowship. We even were part of one or two small groups connected back to the Fellowship. In the last number of years Robin served as a supervisor-mentor to Ministry Formation students from Horizon College and Seminary where I presently serve. She was very warm, caring, and relational. She will be missed. Condolences to family. Harry Strauss

I was surprised and saddened to read of Robin's passing. She had a wonderful heart for people, especially the hurting and struggling. She had a deep desire that everyone find the reconciling love of God through her Lord Jesus. I had the privilege of being one of her professors. She was a diligent learner and applied her learning well to her ministry. She became a friend and is missed. One story: at the Ordination Preparation Workshop just prior to her "mock examination," she was very nervous. I walked up to her and held up both my palms in front of her. I told her to punch them. She did so tentatively. I told her to keep going. After 20 seconds or so, she stopped and laughed wholeheartedly as Robin did often. She passed her examination. I thank the Lord for her life and service.
To the family: please accept my apology that I had a schedule conflict and was unable to attend the memorial service remotely.

My heartfelt condolences to Murray and family. I admired Robin and I know she will be sorely missed. I was delighted to see her at Wakaw when she filled in for the local minister. We shared a good visit over lunch. It was great to catch up on a family I care about. Hugs and prayers. Robin has left too soon.

My deepest sympathy to Robin's family.
I met Robin several years ago when I was taking my elderly father, Harvey Just, to services at Emmanuel. He was very lonely as he had lost my mom a few years before. He asked if one of the pastors would come and visit him. This began the friendship between Robin and my dad. He was quite deaf and liked to talk so I know that she did a lot of listening. However, her patience and caring nature won him over and he really looked forward to their time together. She also challenged him and discussed his faith honestly and openly.
I also met Robin and had some conversations with her that showed me just how much she cared for people and God.
I lost my dad almost a year ago and I wanted her family to know how much she meant to us. God bless. Heather

Dear Murray and family,
I am profoundly saddened with the passing of your dear wife, mother, and grandmother, and my dear friend Robin. Her legacy of being a role model will live on through the many of us who had the privilege of knowing her. Her strength of character, her honesty, and the absolute goodness of her heart, were always an inspiration to me. I’m sorry for your loss. Her journey is done. May she rest in peace in Christ’s loving arms. Dorothy Van’t Hof

Robin was a great inspiration to me in 2019.

I was asked to share at Emmanuel sometime ago. I will never forget Robin's words that day. Against the backdrop of her own challenges, the gift of encouragement flowed without end. Indeed, she is an overcomer. I am blessed to have known her.

Just learned that Robin passed. I know she is resting in the loving arms of her Saviour. I spent many hours on the phone with Robin years ago and she prayed so much scripture. She is the one that turned me on to praying scripture. May God bless your family as you mourn for this lovely lady.

Robin repeatedly shared with me, I want them (seniors at The Quest) to know they are loved. Our last camp with Robin was a glorious time in study of John 3:16. Robin's scholarship, gentleness, strength of belief, and humour filled us with the love of God. Yes, we breathed in His love in the sunfilled Chapel. As a writer, Robin's words were purposeful and poetic.
Robin also led us in a musical, drumming exercise program AND an alcohol ink craft. More laughter. More love.
We breathed in the scents of forest, lake and God's love as Robin led us deeper into relationship with Him.
Yes, Robin is missed and loved.
