Dear Cousin,
You always made me feel so special when I visited you. You had a special knack for that! You made me feel like there was no time lost.
Your kindness and compassion always there for me, my Mom and everyone for that matter!
I am so grateful we had such a great visit, especially on our drive to "the farm"! Lots of laughs!
David, Colleen, Kevin, Karen, Chrissy and Jimmy and families...you have my heartfelt condolences.
Luv always,
Mary Beth

So many hearts broke the day you turned from earthly angel to heavenly angel!
It is not our place to question why, just to believe that it was time to go to the Father's house.
I pray for all who loved this beautiful lady, to have the strength, love and peace to carry on as she would have wanted.
Thank you Rose-Marie, for being so loving, and such a great support and role model of stong faith for me.
Your Goddaughter, cousin and friend. Until we meet again, rest in peace!
Love, Madelyn xox

Rose-Marie was a warm-hearted, kind and loving woman. She was a soft-glowing light in an often dark and dreary world. What I will remember most about RM was how she loved to talk about her kids and her grand-kids. They were clearly the centre of her universe. Man but she will be missed; I will miss her; we will miss her.

I was so heartbroken to learn of my dear friend Rose Marie's passing. Our friendship started at Margo school in grade 6 when I left McKinley school. We had many shared values...faith in God first, love of family, service in nursing, love of music, and hospitality. Even though we lived in different cities (Toronto and Saskatoon) whenever I came "home" to the prairies, we always got together and cherished every moment together. My sincere sympathy to David, her children, her siblings, and all her grandchildren. This wonderful kind, gracious, beautiful woman will be missed and cherished in our hearts forever. Your friend, Lois Peterson Doxsee

Rose-Marie was an amazing woman. Although I haven't seen her in years, I have many fond memories of her and always enjoyed seeing her at family gatherings. She had such a strong and happy spirit that you could feel whenever she was around. I'm really sad to hear of her passing.

My life has been enriched knowing Rose-Marie. Growing up in Wilkie 'just down the street from the Smiths' was a treasure in itself. I will miss this beautiful soul but have the best memories. My condolences to her family and everyone that knew her. We are all sad.

After 20+ years of being Rose-Marie and Dave’s neighbors, we will truly miss this beautiful lady’s presence. Rose-Marie and I had so many wonderful conversations over the fence....It would usually start with a simple “Hi, how’s it going?” Then usually about an hour or so later after sharing joys or hardships, we would giggle as we had managed to solve the worlds problems in that time! She delighted in births of new grand babies and her family’s achievements....We never ran out of things to talk about and in spring/ summer we shared the joy of our planting and watering flowers and the neighbors always marvelled at what good gardens her and Dave planted. Over the years she became much more than a neighbor, she became my friend, one whose memory I will cherish. So grateful to have known her.
I feel so honoured that this past October 2020 Rose-Marie asked me to take photos of her and Dave in their yard to commemorate their 50th anniversary, as she didn’t want a big fuss. I guess God had this all planned so that those photos would be part of just some of the beautiful memories.....God bless Rose-Marie, she will be forever missed. Our deepest sympathy goes out to Dave and the entire Smith Family.
