Brynn was not only a friend, but a cubicle neighbor at income assistance for over four years. There was never a day we were not laughing, and we were always trying to guess how many voicemails each of us had while of course Brynn saying, “ I have more”. Brynn was always smiling, and you never knew what he was up to. One day I came into the office, and my mouse would not work Brynn had put a sticky note over the laser on my mouse so it would not work. We had a good laugh, and then he was on to planning his next joke or throwing things into your cubicle. I think the memory that stands out the most is him bringing an entire cucumber for a snack. Brynn not only was a great coworker, but he was a caring and compassionate worker to the clients he served.
Brynn you impacted many lives, rest easy my friend,
Kayla Turner

My husband and I were fortunate to get the opportunity to meet Brynn through work. Although he presented as the strong silent type, once we got to know him chatting and joking came easy. Brynn and I sat beside each other at work so we had many conversations-some about big important life things and other not so serious topics, things such as the right way to eat a cucumber. I liked to think I was right on this one and yet Brynn would proceed to take a bite out of a whole cucumber to try to prove us wrong. Then there was the way he would eat his bananas...the “proper way” (which he may have been right on this one). However, one day in the lunch room he shared that he was sure he had eaten too many bananas in his life that he most likely didn’t reap the benefits from them anymore.
I was unaware that I had two “tag lines” until Brynn all of a sudden had the same from mocking me every time I said them. Sometimes while I was still on a call I’d hear him repeat “my line” and I would have to keep a straight face to finish the call. Brynn loved to think he was so sneaky-a co worker reminding me while we were reminiscing of our memories of Brynn and of how he would walk by with an object, usually a paper clip and toss it over the cubicle wall to startle us. I wouldn’t have told him then that it usually worked as he would have loved that a little too much. Brynn was someone who welcomed everyone, who had a quirky and great sense of humour (although sometimes his poker face a little too good I would have to question him if he was actually kidding or not). He was very disciplined in his work and patient with his clients. (And maybe his coworkers too). Brynnja (the ninja—man he would hate that I said that, but I would remind him that being a ninja is cool), we are going to miss you more than you know. You were loved by many. Did you leave a lasting impact on our lives? “You betcha” (I hope you are mocking me wherever you are). I hope these stories bring smiles as you read them. We are sending all our love to Brynn’s family and friends. We were so fortunate to have had him as a coworker and friend, even if for what feels now, like a brief moment in time. Brynn, we will raise a protein shake and a cheers in your honor. You will not be forgotten.
Love from Desiree & Travis

I met Brynn through a mutual friend as I was looking for a fourth curler during the 2019-2020 season. He came and watched us play and well must have liked what he saw as he joined the team the next week. I miss our chats on and off ice. He was a great player and teammate. His sweeping ability was needed on several occasions and he was a key reason to a lot (most) of our wins. He was so hard to read! I could never tell if he was mad, serious or trying to be funny. And he was funny! He was hard on himself when he didn’t play well and needed to be reminded from time to time we were in a fun league. He never got upset when I played terrible and was always encouraging to the rest of us.
We hadn’t spoken lately. The last communication was we were going to meet up next time I was in Regina so I could deliver his championship mug. We won our league! However thanks to covid i never made it to Regina to see him. I’m sorry Brynn. If anyone in his family would like his mug please reach out and I will mail it.
You will be missed dearly Brynn

Brynn was a coworker of mine. While we weren't close, we would chat from time to time. He always made an effort to make everyone feel welcome. His sense of humor (sometimes it was difficult to tell if he was joking or serious as he was able to maintain a straight face), kindness, and smile are things I will especially remember about him. Sending condolences to his family--I am so sorry. May the memories you have of Brynn help you smile through the tears.
