I was so saddened to hear the news that Nancy passed away recently. She was an old friend from high school and although we hadn't been in touch for many years, Nancy was a person that was truly unforgettable. She was beautiful inside and out and I remember encouraging her to enter Miss Teen Canada as I thought she was a perfect example of a Canadian girl and I knew she would win if she entered! But she just laughed when I told her that. She played the piano beautifully and had a pet hawk in high school. I last saw her at a high school reunion and we sat at the same table. She was so proud of her family and I can't imagine a better mother/grandmother. I have thought of her often in recent years and always hoped we would reconnect. My sincere condolences go out to Nancy's family and friends. I know she will be missed by the many people that loved her.

I just heard today about Nancy’s passing. My heart aches for you and the family. It has been years since I had seen you folks but my memories are strong and very fond of the friendship that we had with you folks. Please accept my sympathies. I know full well that at times it is overwhelming with the responses and everything, people do mean well. Although you may not remember all that people have said. Take care of each other.

To the Fraser Family,
I had the distinct pleasure of working with Nancy at RUH during my residency. Our main office in O&G was always a spot for a quick chat, a big smile, and friendly update. Nancy was the mainstay of that office for many years and ran it exceptionally well. Even once she moved downstairs to Neuro I made sure to find her when I could to catch up about our families and what we were growing in the garden. RUH was a quieter place once she retired, and now that silence will be felt everywhere. My deep condolences to your family. I know how much she will be missed.

I was truly saddened to hear that Nancy has passed. I worked with her for several years at the RUH, and truly, I could not have met a kinder, more gentle soul than Nancy. She really was a kindred spirit!!! My heart goes out to her family, for I know she will be greatly missed!!

I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Nancy from my years in the pharmaceutical industry, calling on Dr. Olatunbosun at RUH. She was without a doubt one of the most beautiful, kind, warm and endearing people I ever met. After retirement we would often bump into each other while out walking or at Safeway. I would carry the warmth of her smile with me for the rest of the day.
