Irv, there’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think of you and miss you. Irv had the biggest heart he always had the kindest words to say to my family and I, he was a hard working, loyal friend and new how to make us smile with his loving hugs, Irv would lend us a helping hand to help us on our farm, either it be hooking up all our garden hoses, or helping us plant, it helped us so much to grow us the nicest garden each year.
Brennen, Julia & Brynlee, Jeremy & I and all our animals were always happy to see cousin Irv. Thank you for being you, we miss you so much.❤️ I’ll always cherish all our memories together. We love you.
My deepest condolences to you.
Lots of love to you Aunty Joan, Darin & Sue & Brody & Austin

Deepest condolences to Irv's family. He was always the life of the party, fun and crazy and upbeat and sweet. I am glad that we had the opportunity to know and enjoy him and his free spirit.

My deepest condolences to Joan, Darin, Susan & families on the unexpected loss of 'Little Irv'. As you go through this deep sorrow and disbelief, please know that you have lots of love and comfort being sent out to you from those near and far, and even from those you may not have heard from in a long time.
It had been a very long time since I had seen Irv, but when he recognized me and reintroduced himself at Oliver Place where Joan lives and was a neighbour of my late Mom's, I immediately thought how extremely nice it was for him to reach out and say something. Because so many years had passed since school, I didn't even recognize him, he could've very easily just ignored me. I was very fortunate to be friends of the Sande family, having been close buds with big brother Darin from elementary to high school. Little Irv, as he was known and called, was always around and he was a good kid.
All these years later, when I ran into him a subsequent time after re-meeting, he was still the most polite, nice, cheerful, outgoing person with an amazing smile, that you could ever meet. And a son and brother willing to help, and always having time to talk.
I am very very sorry that he is no longer with you.
All my love, Bev Kowaluk (nee Spurgeon)

My big brother Irv. I his loving sister will miss him but we will be together again one day. We have laughed and cried together, never giving up on eachother is something we both cherished and a bond that can never be broken. I’ve lit candles every night so he can always find his way through the light that was him. I love you big brother and you will always have my heart.

Irv will be missed by so many. He had a way of lighting up a room as soon as he walked in. My son and my dog, who he re named as “splinter” loved you and will miss you too. You were like a brother to me. I love you and will miss you.

Our deepest condolences to Mumsy as Irv would say, Darren, Sue and the boys. He fondly spoke of you all when he came out to visit. Whether he was bragging about his nephews sports and how fast they were growing or talking about what he was going to make with his mom for supper the next day. He’d always share the latest updates and was always thinking of you ❤️
When Irv would come stay at Reiber Ranch Retreat as he called it (after checking to see if his room was ready) there was never a dull moment. He was always scheming the next plan to make the most of the shenanigans out here and somehow, they never seemed to disappoint him or any of us around him. He’d greet you with a giant hug, be the first to play with the kids (before they got too cool to hang out with us) and roll on the floor with our dog. He loved to spend the day on the boat, playing tunes, fishing, boat hopping and jumping in on a hot summer day (pretty sure he donated a cell phone or pair of sunglasses in this lake every year!). Sitting around the fire was also a favourite of Irv’s. He was the first to be out getting it going and the last to put it out. He made many new friends out here around a fire, he was definitely the life of the party and a spirit no one will ever forget.
We know this was a happy place you could get away from it all and we will never forget the times we had.
We love you “uncle” Irv and you’ll always have a special place in our hearts ❤️

Irvin, Alison and I were always together growing up. My best friends. We would skate every Sunday, hang at the park, go swimming and play at the Burfitt’s. We had many sleepovers, Irv would test my Dad lol, play board games, watch movies. He was always, always making me laugh. In recent years we would have heart to hearts, he would be my sunshine in my troubled times, making me smile again with a big hug. He would help me move or be a cheerleader for me in my business building. My heart is broken, but my cherished memories make me smile again. Irv you can tease my Dad again and I will love you everyday until I see you again in heaven. ❤️
