Rob,
Cathie and I were so sorry to hear of Yvette's passing. We so enjoyed getting to know her and visit with her on those special occasions where the spouses participated in our meetings. Cathie really got to know and enjoy her as they got to go do fun things while we met. Yvette was always fun to be with and full of energy and ideas. We miss those days a lot and certainly will miss Yvette. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers at this very sad time.
Sincerest condolences,
John & Cathie Estey

We are so sorry to hear about your loss. Yvette grew up in Kerrobert, where I grew up as well. Later we were pleased to reconnect as our son Jared attended St. Bernard school with Michelle. In later years, we'd stop to chat many times as we came across one another in the community. I also enjoyed her many concerts as she sang with such enthusiasm. The world has lost a beautiful person. Our sincere sympathy, Rob and Family. Vivian and Alex Boyko

What an amazing woman! We will miss her dedication to her wild neighbours, and her commitment to their well-being. Her heart was so big and full of love to give. We will listen to the birds singing in the spring, knowing her voice is now among them. Her song was silenced too soon... Our hearts go out to her family. Thank you for all your donations to Living Sky Wildlife Rehabilitation. We will honour her compassion by caring for the injured & orphaned who need us, as she did all her life.

There are many memories of my dear friend but I always think of how forgiving of peoples foibles she was. There was a place in her heart for every living thing. Her intuition was stellar! If I was having a bad time the next thing you know I’m getting a phone call from her saying “you were on my mind”. Love and loyalty were her greatest assets. Darrell and I want express our deepest sympathies to Rob, David,Michelle and Danielle. You are in our thoughts.

Yvette and I both loved writing plays! We had often spoke of the fun we had while writing the script for 'Halfway to Heaven', a musical show for Magic City Chorus. How we giggled day after day. Not every funny line was accepted for the script as our creativeness went a little overboard. One day at my house we laughed so hard we couldn't speak for at least 15 mins. Just roaring! My husband came upstairs , looked at us and declared "You two are having altogether too much fun!" And then we roared all over again. My special dearest friend, I count the minutes til I see you again. Deep and heartfelt condolences to the family. I have renamed her favorite cookies "Yvette's Angel Cookies".
