January 1st, 1979 - December 7th, 2020.
Nyayual passed away peacefully from this life on the evening of December 7th, 2020 after a long battle of illness. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and caregivers during the last days of her life. Nyayual was born in Nasir, South Sudan, on Jan 1, 1979. After married in 1998, she joined her husband in refugee camp in Ethiopia. In 2003, the family moved to Canada for resettlement.
Nyayual is survived by her husband (Riek Both), four children (Nyachudier Riek, Nyawarga Riek, Tesloach Riek, and Nyaruot Riek), and her mother (Nyakong Lual Chol).
Nyayual is also survived by three sisters-in-law back home (Nyakhot, Nyayien, and Nyatut) and one sister-in-law here in Canada (Nyabuay), two brothers-in-law in Canada (Gatluak and Lilsimon), and three brothers-in-law back home (Biel, Buomkuoth and Tesloach). She is survived by her father-in-law (GatBichiok) and mother-in-law (Nyakhor) back home.
She survived by two brothers (Moyong and Deng) and one step-brother (Kuolang) back home in Africa.
Nyayual has been a beloved wife, mother, sister and a daughter. She was the rock and foundation of this family. She took care of the family by maintaining employment as a production worker (Maple Leaf Food processing), Housekeeper-room attendant (Heritage Inc Hotel), and her last job as a Maintenance at (Saskatoon Soccer Centre).
Family thanks Parkridge Centre-Long-term care facility staffs, doctors for their support to Nyayual for years. We also like to thanks the Royal University Hospital’s Emergency staff and doctors’ support during the last day. We are so grateful for your help.
Nyayual, you brought joy, happiness, and laughter to all who met you; you will be sorely missed by everyone!
