We have so many great memories of our years living next door to Al and Mary, 37 years to be exact. Al was always ready for a little visit and a story or two of the many things that were very important to him. We witnessed the growing up of his two sons and were very fortunate to meet his mother a number of times. She was amazing. Many times we’d receive a bag of fresh garden produce and when the occasion arose sit down and have a glass of wine or a cold beer and solve the problems of the day. It is so true whenever we bumped into each other doing our yard work or shoveliing our snow his exact first words were “ greetings”. In the early years we remember him relaxing in his lawn chair admiring his garden and smoking his pipe.
Rest In Peace dear neighbor.
