Linda Bryden (James) posted a condolence

I was so sad to learn about the loss of your Mom/Grandma/great grandma. She and Clayton were close friends of my Mom and Dad (Alice and Bill James) so I have many many fond memories of both of them. In their later years you would usually find those two couples together on Saturday night playing bridge or cribbage. Many a remebrance day found the four of them on a day trip to Loreburn and there were a few epic road trips that my parents often talked about (PEI). I especially remember Doris for her sharp mind and how engaged she was with the community and the important people in her life. There was not one conversation I had with her that she did not ask about my siblings, husband and family (remembering all of them by name). She was one special lady. Hold your memories close and take care at this sad time.
