Sending my thoughts and prayers to Rick’s family. I was one of his safety peers on a multi-ministry Gov of Sk team for several years. He had such insight and passion for health and safety and contributed so much to our committee peer group. He was a well respected member of our team. Rick, you will be missed, but your contributions to OHS will live on. Rest In Peace, my friend.

Dear Lori, Brooke Ally and Chris,
Sincere condolences on Ricks passing. We have very fond memories of Rick, always so positive and so very excited to watch his kids play all sorts of sports. Especially the girls play Volleyball, this is where we would see him mostly cheering on his beautiful daughters. You could tell just how proud he was of each one of his children. Lori his love for you was also so very evident.
I wish I had the words to comfort you in your mourning I hope you can all hold tight to those memories from times together for they will help to bring a smile and they will never fad or leave. Rick will always be with you. ❤️
John, Anna , Paulina and I send our prayers and lots of love your way. If you need anything we are just a call or text away.

Rick always had the most positive, upbeat attitude. We would often see each other in the coffee room at work and chat about the cabin, the family, how the girls were doing away at school and whatever else we had going on in life at the moment. I've really missed that since he was away. I'm so sorry to hear that we lost him, he was awesome.

Dear Lori and Family: Sincere condolences for the loss of your loving husband and father. I met Rick at the Christmas Parties at your house and only spoke with him briefly but he had the nicest smile and such a friendly manner that left me with a lasting memory of him. Please know that I am thinking of you all and I hope to give you a big hug one day Lori, when we can all see each other again. Thanks so much for allowing me to share in Rick's Celebration of Life, it was a beautiful service. Take care. Sincerely, Gerry.

Lori and Family, your loss is profound and difficult to get through. My early memory was working with Rick at Crestline Coach in late 80's. He was so giving, understanding, and you feel the bright and rewarding future he was going to have. He could calm you and help sort out problems, so easily it seemed. Later years playing beach Vball. My thoughts are with you.

Rick was a charming man who’s dedication to workplace safety was exemplary. His sense of humour and his kindness were always present when engaging staff and colleagues alike. His voice made a difference within the Ministry of Highways but also across the Public Service of Saskatchewan. It was my privilege to mentor Rick. He will be missed and fondly remembered.
