My condolences to your family on the loss of a wonderful man.
Our family met Gene when he was pastoring at Lutheran Sunset Home.
He was very kind and gentle to our dear father, and a blessing to us , as we travelled the last days of Dad's life journey.
I will always remember Gene's kindness, and his wonderful smile
Thank you for sharing him with us.
Sincerely.

Deepest sympathy to all members of the Grant family. I was a young seminary student when I began volunteering at Luther Special Care Home where Gene was the chaplain. In the years to come I was fortunate to work with him at the home and Luther Tower. He has been a wonderful mentor and friend. I was so pleased to visit with him at the Village where I am the chaplain. I give thanks to God for many memories of Gene. Peace and comfort be with all of you.

Dear Family of Gene Grant
Words are inadequate to relay to you the appreciation of Nut Lake L.C.
for our former pastor. His ministry of music has continued to bear fruit
In the lives of us who were active participants at that time..It was a time
when we had a band program in Rose Valley school. Our cong. was blessed
also with many young people. Music was a vital, energetic part of our
Services and extended to ministry in other communities.
Praise be to God. We thank God for blessing us with His servant.

To the Grant family,
I just have to smile at my memories of Gene (known to me as Pastor Grant). He always had a smile on his face and was enjoying life. Both my Mom and Dad thoroughly enjoyed the company of Gene and Esther and I remember as a child and teenager the delightful meals and great company.
My sympathies to all the family.
Ryan Lissel and family.
