Rosie had an uncanny knack for sharing the breast milk with others when being burped. Not surprisingly, however, Uncle Bill was ready, willing, and able to take one for the team that day! He will be sorely missed on many levels, but we rejoice knowing that we are one day closer to seeing him again! 1 Thessalonians 4:13

My condolences to Lorraine, Kim, Craig (Lindsey). Not enough words can describe how amazing Bill was.
The Cowan household (In Prince Albert, Candle Lake, Melfort) was my home away from home. Many adventures were spent with the Cowan’s. Bill always had something to say, advice to hand out, encouragement, and praise to be given out, too. Bill always had a smile, and a wise crack for any comment. He will be missed more then words can say.
Weekends spent at the Cowan’s when we were kids usually saw us renting a couple of movies. It got to the point Bill would ask... “did Lynn pick this movie?” Ok a girl picks a couple of dud movies well Bill NEVER let me forget it. Hahaha
When Kim went off to university in Minot. I had to get my Cowan fix so typically stopped by for a visit at the Cowan household every couple of weeks. I always felt welcomed. I didn’t want Bill and Lorraine to miss Kim too much so since I was always at the Cowan’s prior to her leaving I figured I would just stick with tradition. LOL.
When Kim came home from China for a visit I was always welcome at the Cowan’s Melfort home.
With Bill’s guidance I made the career choice to become an EA for Sask. Rivers School division. I will forever be grateful for his persistence, kind and caring soul.
Bill will forever be in my heart! My heart is broken For Everyone that knew Bill, knowing that all we have now are these precious memories. Rest In Peace Bill!! ❤️

Condolences. It’s been a long time since I talked to Bill at the rink or the ball diamond, but I remember him well. He was a sensible, sincere, scholarly fellow.

Uncle Bill was an amazing man. He was kind, wise, humorous, and as patient as anyone I have ever met. I looked forward to our time together at the lake every summer, and I always marveled at how he was just like the Energizer Bunny and just kept working away at different projects wherever he was. He always seemed to have a project! I am saddened by the fact that myself and my son will lose such a positive role model in our lives. Love Terry
