I remember mr.,Romuld very fondly from the same era as my friends, doug and Lynn have written from. He was quiet and had a great sense of humour. I’m so glad to read about his life and remember him

Mr Romuld was my home room teacher when I was a freshie at City Park Collegiate in 1963. He did his best to civilize us and often succeeded. I remember thinking he was quite reserved and conservative at first. Over the years I learned that he was very knowledgable and progressive and loved to share his love of language and literature.
He had a wry sense of humour that we youngsters often did not get at first but I learned to enjoy very much over the years. He was respectful of his students and tried to teach us to be respectful of others.
I recently learned he was an author and read his book Call Of The Kew Apple last year. I enjoyed it. It reveals a lot about his sense of humour, the history of Saskatchewan, and his affection for independent and contrary viewpoints.
He was my favourite teacher in my four years of high school. I treasure his memory.

Mr. Romuld was wonderful teacher. Although it's been over 50 years I still remember his support and knowledge. City Park Collegiate was a better place because of him.
My condolences to his family.
