Obituary of Keith Storey

Keith Robert Storey, born February 14, 1936, died June 16, 2020. Dad passed away peacefully at St. Paul’s Palliative Care after a long, happy and productive life. Dad loved music, dancing, and was an enthusiastic armchair sports fan. He was born and raised in Saskatoon, and as a youngster enjoyed hockey, soccer, and baseball. He had a special connection with his grandfather who helped to shape his character at an early age. Dad eventually made his home on an acreage at the family homestead near Haultain, SK.  He spent his whole career as a journeyman auto body man and he was a true professional. He truly loved to tinker, fix and build things. He returned to life in Saskatoon on his retirement, and his home was always open for family to visit, have a coffee, good conversation and a few laughs. Dad was predeceased by his wife and mother of his children, Diane, his grandson Jeff, his parents Bob and Edna, and his sister Joan. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Norine, his children Bernadine, Donald (Debra), Laureen (Brent), Barbara (Ray). His stepchildren Christine (Gary), Ken, Ross (Cheryl) and Yvonne (Kal). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and his sister Ruby (Seaforth, Ontario). In Lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society. A private family service will be held Saturday June 27, 2020 at 10:30 a.m.  Interment to follow at Floral Cemetery.
