They say that when you get married that you “marry” that person’s entire family. Brian was one of the unexpected rewards for me when I married Gerry. There are so many things that made Brian a special person to me. His ability to listen, his willingness to help with anything and everything, his keen intellect, and his unbelievable patience come to mind. His visits were frequent, and I looked forward to every one of them. I will miss those visits. Between visits, Brian would often send the most eloquent emails which were always such a pleasure to read. I will miss those as well.
Forever in our hearts.
Cindy

Uncle Brian took notice of my love of learning early on and encouraged it throughout my life, be it by giving me puzzle books as a kid or proofreading my science fair projects. He also made a mean tourtiere, and I will miss hearing his hearty laugh at the dinner table as we enjoyed it.

We will remember Uncle Brian always for his meandering tales, which you could never quite be sure were a real story or a joke, but would always lead somewhere interesting.
He was inquisitive, encouraging, and he had a great mustache! We will miss you.

A very pensive and reflective guy, I last spoke with Brian about a year ago. I remember his many visits to Montreal and was always amazed at his capacity to simply hop in that old Dodge Monaco (Plymouth Polara?) and drive from Saskatoon/Calgary as if it was nothing. He was also one of the few people who could engage my father in long conversation.
My condolences to Terry, Gerry and Tommy and the families.

My sincere condolences to my wonderful cousins and family out west. We loved spending summers with Brian, Terry and auntie Audrey up in Rawdon every summer. Brian just loved keeping the place renovated for all of us to enjoy.I always enjoyed sitting on the porch just reminiscing about grandma and grandpa and all the other relatives. Brian is our oldest cousin so he had the best memories of how things went down when we were young. I will miss his visits and he will always be in our hearts. Thinking of you all during these difficult times.
Love always
Donna and Mark
