John and I grew up in Canyon Heights and lived only a few blocks from each other. We were invited to attend a Cub Camp at Camp Byng in Roberts Creek in the 1950's as the only two Boy Scouts with the 15th Capilano Highlanders. We both worked for BC Tel and would periodically cross paths there. I always remember him as one of the sharp dressers in the halls of the Boot at Boundary and Kingway. I am sorry to hear of his passing.
