It was an honour and a pleasure to share part of the journey with Don at the Saskatoon Golf and Country Club. My condolences to the family as I know he will be greatly missed. Take care and trust that he has gone to a better place.

I worked with Don for a few years,in the early 90`s at the Saskatoon Club.He was a great person,and a great chef.I learned a lot from Don in our time together.

So shocking to see the notice in the paper today , I have such great memories working with Don at Hy’s and then at Vill’s he was a most wonderful,caring and hardworking man ,you were such a wonderful and caring couple and family , thoughts and prayers with you all , hope the good memories will give you some peace , Jack and Villy
It was sad to hear of Uncle Donny’s illness and passing. We were not able to be there in person but thank-you for sharing the final farewell on line.
I remember when the family would visit us at the farm. I remember his laugh and how he would always mix up me and my sister.

Don and I were good friends when we were young in Humboldt. We used to play football and fly kites in the hospital pasture and play road hockey on our street. I remember visiting Don at the family greenhouse many times. Don is fondly remembered by me and I express my heartfelt condolences to the family.
