My sincere condolences to Ann and family in the passing of her dear husband John. I always saw a twinkle in their eyes when they were around each other. Being invited to the back room of "THE GOLDEN SHEAF" to see Mr. Downey at his baking best was a privilege. He certainly had a sense of humor. May all the wonderful memories ease your sorrow.

Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
With love and sincere condolences,
Chris, Amanda & Joy Constantinides

My grandfather John was one of the funniest people I knew. He was always playing his harmonica for me and my younger brother and we heard all about the boy named Sue. I couldn't have asked for anyone better to be my grandpa. Miss you lots grandpa John, thank you for the memories

A wonderful, caring man to family and friends and all he encountered in life. A dedicated parishioner at Our Lady of Lourdes. Yes, and let us remember one of his favourite sayings "Go Riders Go"
My prayers go out to you Ann and your family. Rest in peace, John

Dear Auntie Ann,
I am remembering how fantastic you and Uncle John were to me, Martina and Joanne way back in 1987, the family all looked after us so well and we had a great time staying with you. It was an amazing time and I think of it often, a really happy time.
You are in my thoughts and prayers. Love to you all. Debs Wall XXX

Our deepest sympathies to the family and especially Ann.
We have great memories of going to the bakery on Saturday mornings with the children. The chocolate donuts, sausage rolls, meat pies and at Christmas the mince tarts. We wish you the very best over this sad time. However there are many many tremendous memories. We as a family have many lovely memories of John. A great character.
God bless you all and stay safe

Sending condolences to Ann and family.
John and Ann were always so good to me especially during my first years of starting out my business Stasia Boutique. I'll never forget the day John called me to say the store front was available. He was as excited as I was.
May John rest in peace.
