I wish to extend my sympathy to Norma's family and friends. I have known and loved Norma for many years since I joined Knox in 1971. I was on Staff at Knox from 1978-1984 and worked with her and The Board for a number of years following that time in my capacity as a Chairperson of a number of different committees. I was always impressed by her intelligence and competence as Board Secretary, and later in her many years of devotion to the tedious work of being responsible for the Church Archives, work she learned under the instruction and guidance of Darby Gaunt.
Lately Norma has waited patiently for her hug at refreshment time after service...until her failing health could not permit her attendance.
Knox folk are thankful for the tender care and attention to Norma's needs given by Wendell and Colleen.
Unfortunately, John and I will not be attending the Memorial service in person.
Blessings,
Anne

Norma and my mother were best friends for over 70 years. Growing up Norma was always around and I looked at her as an aunt. She was always fun loving and I will never forget those days. The stories my Mom and Grandmother used to tell of the antics of the two girls we always amusing. She will be missed.

Michelle Winton posted a condolence

My name is Michelle Winton, I am the daughter of Judy Verbeke (nee Jordan).
Judy's father Ollie Jordan was Norma's first cousin. Judy connected with Norma later in life and the two met whenever Judy was up in Saskatoon (she lives in Regina).
Judy suffered a serious stroke in November 2018 so she has not been able to communicate with her family and friends much since then. This is why she had not been in touch with Norma since her stroke.
Judy and I offer our condolences to the rest of Norma's family.
