I wish to pass on my condolences to Jacks family, although we have not been close in recent years we were very close in my formative years and have many fond memories of Uncle Jack and his family Cliff ,Val,Judy, Gordy and enjoyed our many family visits. One particular memory , Jack used to enjoy pinching the chubby chheks of my brothers particularly Blake and Neil :-). I saw him as a dedicated family man even though he could be a harsh task master at times. Rest in Peace Uncle Jack.

J.G. was a big influence on me at an early age . I was lucky enough to meet Gord and have access to his father . From rides to hockey to eventually doing maintenance on his properties , including Wakaw Lake cabin , he treated me like his own . Lots of Jackisms’ come to mind but the one I remember the best is him reciting the letters , A S S I N I B O I A , from his days as a railway worker .
I would run into him from time to time at the rink or a restaurant , I think bringing a smile to his face as he brought to mine .
Condolences to all .
