I have known Betty almost as long as Colleen and treasure many happy memories of our visits together. Betty was such a kind and compassion person, always expressing interest and support for those around her. We shared much laughter, especially over the latest antics of our cats. There were countless special outings that Colleen lovingly organized for her Mum around the city, and I was indeed fortunate to be included on a number of them. Two of my favourite excursions were a trip to Assiniboine Park Zoo with Colleen, Keenan and Betty. Keenan navigated grandma Betty and her wheelchair with great gusto, and she certainly was exhilarated with his efforts. Our last outing together was in August 2019 where we met at The Forks and took an historical boat tour. It was an especially meaningful trip back to Winnipeg with Betty's realization that home was now in Saskatoon with her beloved Colleen and Dave and her cherished grandson Keenan and mother Debra.

I am so fortunate to have had Betty in my life and continue to have her through Colleen. We have shared so many laughs, proud moments, and tears over the years....all with the support of each other. Bettys spirit and care of others carried on from her own mom, and now through Colleen and Keenan. I smile when I remember our times in Ottawa and Winnipeg and thinking of Betty will always bring me back to a happy time together. Thanks for sharing your mom with me Colleen, I am a better person because of having her in my life :) Sending you all my love Colleen, Keenan, Dave, Debbie, pups, and Sophie :) Keep giving them treats and snuggles from Betty :) roberta oxox
